As a patient or a visitor, all of us have been to a hospital. Doctors and other staff are there to help you heal and take care of your medical needs and physical comfort. But, sometimes they are so busy you only see them as flashes in scrubs or lab coats.

You realize that your desire for a cup of tea or some hand cream is lower on their priority list than someone else’s cardiac arrest. But will the staff attend to you in a timely manner? Maybe. Maybe not. Your independence doesn't have to be entirely put aside when you are in hospital.

Having your own pack helps you have a little more control.
